The summer holidays are upon us and many will be getting ready to jet off on a break as soon as possible.

While for the big family break only a big suitcase will do, for a shorter break hand luggage will do just fine. However, there a many rules to be aware of for what can and cannot go into your hand luggage.

The likes of TUI, Jet2, easyJet, Ryanair, British Airways and more have their own rules for what can be brought on board. While some of these are obvious, some items may catch people out, The Mirror reports.
