Boulter and Dart set up all-British clash in Nottingham
Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart will face off in the last eight of the LTA's Rothesay Open Nottingham after a historic day of action for British women on Thursday. Leicester's Boulter, who is a graduate of the LTA's Pro Scholarship Programme, was handed a tough test against Ukrainian lucky loser Daria Snigur. Ad Snigur had knocked out defending champion and Roland Garros semi-finalist Beatriz Haddad Maia in round one, but after a lengthy first set Boulter was able to prevail 7-5 6-3 to reach the last eight.

However Dart dominated the first set, and was able to break to close out a 6-0 7-5 victory, a result that ensured at least one Brit will make the last four of the women's draw. And, after Heather Watson progressed on Wednesday, there will be four British women in the last eight of a WTA event for the first time after Jodie Burrage also won.
The 24-year-old shocked third seed and this year's Australian Open semi-finalist Magda Linette 7-5 6-3 and will next face another Polish player in the form of Magdalena Frech. Andy Murray kept his winning alive with a stylish performance in the final match of the day, beating Hugo Grenier 6-3 7-5 to set up a quarter-final meeting against Dominic Stricker. Stricker had earlier in the day knocked out Ryan Peniston, the eighth seed prevailing 6-4 6-2 against the Brit.
