Italy vs Germany: Nations League prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results - preview today

Another top-level Nations League clash takes place later today with Germany’s trip to Italy.

Since winning the Euros, the Azzurri have had a hard time of it by failing to qualify for the World Cup before a humbling Finalissima defeat to Argentina.

The first steps to recovery take place on home soil with the visit of Germany, a side very much in the midst of a rebuild having experienced a drop-off following a major tournament triumph.

However, Italy have not defeat Die Mannschaft in very nearly a decade.

Here are the details for the game...

Italy vs Germany is scheduled for a 7.45pm BST kick-off on Saturday June 4, 2022.

The Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Bologna will host the match.

TV channel: The match will be televised on Premier Sports 1, with coverage beginning at 7.20pm. A monthly subscription costs from £9.99 in the UK.

Live stream: Premier Sports subscribers will also be able to watch the game online via the Premier Player on mobile and tablet devices.

A whopping five games in this international stretch led to Roberto Mancini calling up a large squad featuring several uncapped players.

Still, Federico Chiesa, Marco Verratti Domenico Berardi, Moise Kean, Nicolo Zaniolo and Andrea Pinamonti are all absent while Ciro Immobile was not called up by the coach. Giorgio Chiellini has now retired from international football after the Finalissima.

Hansi Flick has stuck to his reliable stars with goalkeeper Oliver Baumann the only uncapped player called up to this 26-man squad.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Matthias Ginter, Julian Draxler and Julian Weigl do not feature in this German team.

The Azzurri have struggled to score goals of late but on home soil can at least be confident of keeping them out.

A 0-0 draw.
