'It makes me happy' - Casemiro names what Erik ten Hag wants him to do in Manchester United games
Manchester United star Casemiro has detailed the different aspects of his role as the team's specialist defensive midfielder.
United started the season in terrible fashion with two disappointing defeats against Brighton and Brentford, but Casemiro was signed from Real Madrid and gradually results began to improve with him in the starting line-up.
Casemiro has been a stellar addition and he remains one the best in the world in his defensive midfield position ahead of the back line.
The Brazilan has been a big game player this term and he scored the first goal in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle at Wembley in February, a game which ended the longest trophy drought at the club for over 40 years.

He finished the season with seven goals, an impressive return for a player in his position, although in an interview with club media, he admitted 'wining the ball back' and 'helping his teammates' gives him more satisfaction.
"I reckon it’s now the third season in my career where I’ve managed to score seven goals," Casemiro told United's in-house media. "I get the odd goal now and again but, of course, I’m not what you’d call a genuine goalscorer!
"Everyone likes to get on the scoresheet but a favourite phrase of mine is always that my ball-winning tackles are my goals. That’s what I really like doing and that’s when I’m at my happiest.
"When I’m winning the ball back, helping out my team-mates, getting my team-mates playing and moving the ball better, closing down space and then ensuring that we bring the ball out from the back with quality.
