‘It looked bad’ - Marsch unimpressed over one incident which left Leeds ace ‘suffering’

Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch was unimpressed with a tackle on Stuart Dallas in the Whites’ unforgettable 3-2 victory over Wolves on Friday night.

The Whites recorded a priceless Premier League win at Molineux, with the three points potentially proving crucial come the end of the season.

A thrilling contest saw Marsch’s side overcome a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 3-2, with Luke Ayling completing the scoring with a stoppage time winner.

Dallas played the full match at left-back and was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle by Joao Moutinho, with the Portuguese veteran remaining on the pitch.

Speaking after the game [via Leeds Live], Marsch expressed his displeasure over the challenge, adding that the 30-year-old is ‘suffering’ after it.

The Leeds manager raged: “I thought it was too high. And then I asked the fourth official and they said they reviewed it and they didn’t think it was a read. So in those situations then from what our bench was saying they thought it was a red, but I haven’t seen it again but at the moment it looked bad and certainly Stuart is suffering a little bit from it.”

On a night when Patrick Bamford, Diego Llorente and Mateusz Klich all suffered injuries, Dallas was fortunate that he wasn’t taken out of the game as well.
