It hasn't taken Jake Paul long whatsoever to rub salt in Canelo's wounds after Bivol loss

Jake Paul has chimed in to give his instant reaction to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez‘s decision loss to Dmitry Bivol.

Bivol shocked the world of boxing in the early hours of Sunday morning by decisively outpointing Canelo and stopping him in his quest to capture the WBA light heavyweight title.

Canelo was completely outclassed by his opponent, looking a little more off the pace than we are used to seeing.

YouTube star and professional, kind of, boxer Jake Paul poked fun at the Mexican, uploading a video to Twitter that gave his instant reaction to the fight.

“And just like that, Canelo Alvarez loses to Dmitry Bivol.

“He’s on the ropes like he won, he only won three rounds in the whole entire fight.

“Congratulations to Dmitry Bivol, he showed that Canelo is easily beatable by a bigger man.”

The reaction comes after Jake Paul claimed that he could easily defeat Canelo with a few more years boxing under his belt.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn was baffled in the lead up to Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano last wee, as Paul told him that he had his eyes set on the Mexican world champion.

Eddie said: “This is a guy who, he would say to me off camera, ‘In two years I’ll beat Canelo.’

“And I’ll sort of look around for a camera and realise there isn’t one, and I think, ‘Wow.’”

In Jake’s latest Twitter post, also sent a defiant message to the promoter, saying: “Eddie Hearn, f*** you.

“I’m coming, I’m beating Canelo in three years, I put that on my mama!

“Believe in yourself kids, and don’t listen to these British scumbags like Eddie Hearn.”

Jake oozes confidence for a man who has only been boxing professionally for two years and seems eager to throw down with one of the biggest names in the sport.
