Isthmian League round-up: Neil Smith's Cray Wanderers draw in Isthmian Premier but Margate, Folkestone Invicta and Herne Bay beaten

Striker Ade Yusuff was controversially sent off - just four days after bagging a hat-trick - on Saturday as Folkestone were beaten in Isthmian Premier on their travels.

Kingstonian were ahead, away defender Josh Vincent also having come off injured early on, before Yusuff was dismissed in stoppage time after a coming together with ex-Margate man Michael Abnett in Folkestone’s 2-0 defeat.

Yusuff had scored three times on Tuesday as Neil Cugley’s Invicta, now 15th, beat struggling Corinthian-Casuals 4-0.

Margate were also beaten, themselves losing 2-0 at Lewes. They have signed centre-back Ethan Kaiser from Potters Bar, managed by Deal-born Sammy Moore, but he was an unused substitute in their defeat.

Neil Smith’s Cray Wanderers drew 1-1 with Enfield Town.

Dan Bassett got them level at Hayes Lane after the visitors had taken the lead, with Cray now seventh in the table, only behind fifth-placed Enfield on goal difference.

Herne Bay are third-bottom having lost 3-0 at home to Hastings.

Midfielder Che Krabbendam - a recent signing - made his first Bay start in front of a crowd of 561 at Winch’s Field. Meanwhile Jake Embery, the son of former Faversham joint-boss John Embery, has left the Lilywhites and came off the bench for Ben Smith’s side.

Top beat bottom in Isthmian South East, Ramsgate getting the better of Corinthian 2-0.

After the restart, midfielder Lee Prescott broke the deadlock at Southwood in front of a crowd of 612 before striker Ashley Miller converted a late penalty.

Jordy Robins netted a late winner for second-placed Chatham who came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Chichester.

Striker Emmanuel Oloyede got them level in the 85th minute before midfielder Robins came up with the winner.
