Isthmian League round-up: Leaders Dover Athletic and Dartford both score four goals, Ashford beat 10-man Herne Bay
Free-scoring Isthmian Premier leaders Dover posted an impressive 4-1 win at Dulwich on Saturday.
Jake Leberl’s side took their tally to 52 goals in 19 league games as Dover made it 11 matches without defeat.
Dover defender Luca Cocoracchio turned the ball into his own net after three minutes but Ruben Soares-Junior equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Goals from George Nikaj and Alfie Matthews in the second half put Dover in control before Soares-Junior added his second late on.
Second-placed Cray Valley dropped to third after their home match with Lewes was abandoned due to an injury to a visiting player.
Danny Bassett and Gianluca Botti had given Lewes a 2-0 advantage while Tom Beere was red carded for the home side.
Dartford are up to fifth following a 4-0 home win over lowly Bognor, extending their unbeaten league run to eight matches.
All the goals came in the first half with the floodgates opening once Denzelle Olopade gave Dartford the lead on 28 minutes.
Olly Box added a second, George Whitefield continued his scoring form by adding a third and captain Josh Hill netted just before the break.
Bognor finished with 10 men after Calvin Davies picked up two bookings inside three minutes late on.
Folkestone’s match at home to Cheshunt was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Herne Bay had to play 80 minutes with 10 men after keeper Josh Bexon collected an early red card in their 3-1 derby loss at Ashford.
Gary Lockyer made the breakthrough just before half-time and on-loan Dartford winger Gabe Campbell made it 2-0.
Michael Salako pulled one back with five minutes left for Bay but substitute Noah Carney added a third Ashford goal in stoppage time.
