Dartford scored first-half goals to defeat in-form Eastbourne Borough at Princes Park.

The Darts won 4-1 to defeat a Borough side, who had won their last eight games in the Isthmian Premier.

Max Fiddes took his tally for the season to 16 goals with a brace after Dan Smith’s opener while player-boss Ben Greenhalgh was also on target.

Ex-Gills forward Liam Nash pulled a goal back for the visitors against his former club in the second half.

“We were so ruthless in the first half,” said Greenhalgh. “It’s been coming.

“It was all us in every department. To go 4-0 up by half-time was absolutely superb.”

Kaan Bennett scored twice as Welling United regained top spot with a fine 3-1 win at St Albans.

Bennett put the Wings ahead on the stroke of half-time but St Albans levelled after the break through Zane Banton’s penalty.

Fumnaya Shomotun restored Welling’s advantage on the hour mark and they added a third through Bennett seven minutes later.

Ramsgate are up to sixth after an excellent 4-0 home win over Aveley in front of 1,444.

Billy Munday put them on their way with a second-minute opener and Rowan Liburd made it 2-0 after 15 minutes.

Alfie Paxman added a third with 13 minutes left before substitute Latrell Lewis scored the fourth late on.

Chatham were held to a 1-1 draw by Burgess Hill after Ben Allen’s first-half goal for the Chats was cancelled out by Jack Strange early in the second half.

Whitstable were knocked off the top of Isthmian South East despite coming from two goals behind to claim a 2-2 draw at Sevenoaks.

Jaden Perez and Kevin Diomande put the hosts in charge but Dean Grant made it 2-1 with 12 minutes left and Harrison Pont equalised three minutes later.
