Is Man City vs Burnley on TV? Live stream info, kick-off time and team news
Manchester City host Burnley on Saturday, looking for a win to stay in touch with early leaders Liverpool.
It’s been a mixed start for Pep Guardiola's side, who are eight points behind the champions already after being pegged back late on against Arsenal on Saturday. But with Liverpool facing a tough-looking trip to unbeaten Crystal Palace, three points against the Clarets could see City close the gap.
Scott Parker’s side have made a reasonable start to life back in the Premier League, picking up a win and a draw in their five games so far. And they showed they can mix it with the top sides after almost holding Liverpool to a draw at Turf Moor earlier this month, only to be denied a point by a late Mohamed Salah penalty.
Here’s everything you need to know about watching the game, which won’t be broadcast live in the UK…
The game at Etihad is due to get underway at the traditional Saturday kick-off time of 3pm on Saturday, September 27.
Neither Sky Sports nor TNT Sports has selected the match for live coverage in the UK. However, overseas viewers will be able to watch the action live.
Channels showing the game include beIN SPORTS (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey) and Viaplay in Scandinavia. Canal+ will show the game in France, while DAZN has the rights in Spain and Portugal. NBC Sports has rights to Premier League action in the United States.
Guardiola is hopeful Erling Haaland will be fit to face Burnley. The striker was substituted during Manchester City'sy draw against Arsenal at the weekend, with Guardiola revealing afterwards that he was suffering from back pain.
Abdukodir Khusanov, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Omar Marmoush are not expected to return to action until after October's international break.
