Is Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall on TV? Live stream, TV channel and fight start time details

The stage is set, the belts are on the line and fireworks are poised to explode in a mouthwatering bout.

Josh Taylor returns to the ring for the first time since May 2021 when he became Scotland’s first undisputed champion in the four-belt era with a stunning win over Jose Carlos Ramirez.

The Prestonpans pugilist finally faces Jack Catterall after originally being scheduled to face the Englishman in December. He had to pull out with a knee injury but it’s now game on.

Taylor, who is the overwhelming favourite for this one, has repeatedly spoken of his desire to welterweight but he is hellbent on successfully defending all his belts against Catterall first.

The likes of superstar Terence Crawford would await him.

The nation is behind the 31-year-old and he will be backed by a partisan crowd when he steps on to the canvas in what could be a boxing match for the ages.

Here’s all you need to know about the bout...

It’s on Saturday, February 26, nine months after Taylor last stepped into the ring. It will start around 10:30pm, with a quality-looking undercard on first. It takes place at The Hydro in Glasgow ’s city centre.

The fight will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and is scheduled for 12 rounds.

You can watch it on Sky Sports Go and NowTV, with both links streaming the fight live. You can also follow all the action right here on dailyrecord.co.uk with our boxing experts Michael Gannon and Graeme Young.
