Ireland to face New Zealand in Los Angles Sevens quarter-finals

Ireland will play New Zealand in the quarter-finals of the season-ending Los Angeles Sevens on Sunday (7.19pm Irish time).

Ireland finished second in Pool C after winning two of their three matches on Saturday and are on course for their highest finish of fifth in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

James Topping's side have reached the quarter-finals of all bar one of their nine World Series tournaments this season.
