Ireland set to start 2023 Six Nations away to Wales

Ireland will open their 2023 Six Nations against Wales in Cardiff and end it at home to England, after the schedule for next year's tournament was announced.

The Principality Stadium encounter will be the first game of the 2023 Six Nations with a 2:15pm kick-off on 4 February.

Andy Farrell's side welcome defending Grand Slam champions France to the Aviva Stadium for their second game of the campaign on 11 February with a 2:15pm kick-off.

Two away games follow for Ireland with a trip to Italy on 25 February, before they visit Murrayfield to face Scotland on 12 March.

Ireland round out their campaign with a potentially title deciding final day clash against England at the Aviva Stadium on 18 March with a 5pm kick-off.

The Red Rose take on defending champions France the week before that encounter with Ireland as they welcome Les Bleus to Twickenham.
