Ireland's Six Nations jerseys set to feature player names
Ireland's jerseys for the 2024 Guinness Six Nations are set to feature players' names on the back for the first time.
England, Scotland and Italy displayed names during last season's tournament, but along with Ireland, Wales and France are now ready to follow suit in what would be a first for the men's competition.
It is understood an agreement has been reached in principle, with a final green light awaited.
The start of Ireland's Six Nations title defence will kick off in Marseille on 2 February against France.
The following day's action sees England tackling Italy in Rome and Wales hosting Scotland.
