Ireland's Future Tours Program fixtures confirmed

Ireland's fixtures have been confirmed up until April 2025, which will include meetings with eight of the world's top 10 countries in the women's game.

The fixtures are part of a first ever women's Future Tour Program (FTP), which aims to establish regular meetings between the world's highest ranked cricket sides.

The Tests will include both one-day internationals (ODI) and T20 meetings, for which ranking points will be up for grabs.

The T20 and ODI series defeats to South Africa in June, as well as T20 losses to Australia and Pakistan in July, are considered to the first two fixtures of the FTP, with eight more to come between November of this year and April 2025.

"The squad’s involvement in the first-ever women’s FTP is immense for the future of the women’s game here, as it locks in 47 international fixtures home and away against most of the world’s top sides over a four-year cycle," Cricket Ireland high performance director Richard Holdsworth said.

"The opportunities and experiences this schedule offers our players is beyond what past generations dreamt of."

Ireland's fixtures (as part of FTP):

November: Pakistan v Ireland Women in Pakistan (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is)

2023 June: West Indies v Ireland in Caribbean (3 ODIs and 5 T20Is) July: Ireland v Australia in Ireland (3 ODIs)

2024 August: Ireland v Sri Lanka in Ireland (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is) September: Ireland v England in Ireland (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is) December: Bangladesh v Ireland in Bangladesh (3 ODIs and 5 T20Is)
