Ireland must be wary of potential English ambush

Ireland head for Twickenham this weekend in the unusual position of being favourites to turn over England on their own patch in the Guinness Six Nations.

Andy Farrell's men hardly sparkled against Italy last time out, but they remain a team on an upward curve.

They are the "most cohesive" team in the world according to England head coach Eddie Jones, but could they walk into an ambush on Saturday evening?

"I think England aren't playing as well as they potentially can, but I still believe in Eddie Jones," Bernard Jackman said on RTÉ's Against The Head.

"He's trying to form this partnership between Harry Randall and Marcus Smith at 9 and 10, both incredibly exciting players who are dangerous.

"They have a new defence coach, a guy called Anthony Seibold who was with the Brisbane Broncos. He has no background in rugby union - it's typical Eddie Jones, a left-field pick. But they've really focused on the defensive breakdown and they were very effective at that against Wales.

"Ireland's attacking breakdown has been a little bit off. We're creating quick ball, but against Italy we gave away more penalties on attacking ruck than we did defensively. It's something we need to be careful of."

Fiona Coghlan is also wary. "The breakdown is obviously key," she said.

"I think England's lack of confidence in their own attack is a problem for them but at some stage it is going to click. I would be concerned about England going forward.

"Maybe not this weekend.,... I think Ireland are more
