Ireland lock Iain Henderson emerges as injury doubt for Wales match but Hugo Keenan still in contention

Iain Henderson has emerged as a doubt for Ireland's Guinness Six Nations match against Wales on Saturday.

The Ulster lock suffered a foot injury during his side’s URC loss at Ospreys.

"Iain Henderson picked up a foot injury during Ulster's URC game away to Ospreys on Sunday and there will be a further update later in the week," the IRFU said.

Henderson won his 80th cap off the bench in the round-two victory over Italy on 11 February.

Meanwhile, Munster forwards Oli Jager and Tom Ahern, who both started in Friday’s win over the Scarlets, have been added to the squad.

Head coach Andy Farrell will name his side on Thursday afternoon.

Full-back Hugo Keenan, who limped off with a knee injury in the 36-0 win over the Azzurri, and Garry Ringrose, who has yet to feature as he recovers from a shoulder injury, remain in contention.
