Ireland continue winning ways in EuroHockey qualifiers

Ireland continued their quest to reach the Women's EuroHockey Championship with a 1-0 win over Czech Republic at the Sport Ireland Campus.

The Green Army are up against the Czechs, Turkey and Poland with just one qualifying place up for grabs for the finals.

Having beaten Poland 3-0 earlier this week, today's narrow win puts Ireland in a strong position to reach the finals, which will be held in Germany in August 2023.

Katie Mullan scored the only goal of the game in the second quarter, while in the other game in Pool A, Poland defeated Turkey 2-0.
