IPL 2025 Points Table, Orange Cap, Purple Cap: Shubman Gill-Led GT Extend Lead, KKR's Playoff Hopes Fading

Shubman Gill slammed 90 runs off just 55 balls to help Gujarat Titans (GT) extend their lead at the top of the IPL 2025 points table, as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 39 runs. GT were clearly the better side in all three facets of the game, and have now become the first team to hit 12 points this season. KKR, on the other hand, remain in seventh spot, having lost five of their eight games. They are now four points away from the playoffs, and need a string of wins to qualify.

For GT, this victory marked their sixth win in eight matches, consolidating their
