Rishabh Pant shattered the record of the most expensive purchase, going to Lucknow Super Giants, while Shreyas Iyer was not far behind, moving to Punjab Kings. Indian players were sold at a premium, with Indian fast bowlers doing well on Day 2 of the auction.
