Shubham Dubey (Rs 5.80 crore, RR) and Sameer Rizvi (Rs 8.4 crore, CSK) have sprung a surprise. Earlier, two senior Australians made history. First, Pat Cummins went for Rs 20.50 crore to SRH to become the first player ever to breach the Rs 20-crore mark. Then Mitchell Starc broke that record and was roped in by KKR for a whopping Rs 24.75 crore - the highest-ever price for an IPL player ever!
