IPL 2022: Uncapped Indian players who have already became millionaires

Some players fetch fat pay cheques, some big names fail to find takers, while some become millionaires without even being in the auction pool, with franchises retaining/picking them through IPL drafts. The IPL mega auction is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. There will be 590 players who will go under the hammer during the two-day auction. He has been impressive since he made his IPL debut in 2019. After his performance in the last edition earned applause from all quarters, it became quite apparent that Arshdeep could well be on Punjab's shortlist of players to be retained ahead of the auction. The PBKS team management retained the 23-year-old pacer for Rs 4cr ahead of the 15th edition of the IPL ahead of the more experienced Mohammed Shami.

That made him the third youngest player to have bagged a five-wicket haul in the IPL. He continued his wicket-taking spree in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, claiming 10 wickets in 5 matches for Punjab. In the 23 IPL games he has played so far, Arshdeep has taken 30 wickets at an average of 22.30 and an economy rate of 8.78.
