Internationals return for provinces in United Rugby Championship

Newly capped Ireland international Jack Boyle starts for Leinster on Saturday, with Leo Cullen making five changes to his side for their BKT United Rugby Championship meeting with Cardiff at Aviva Stadium (live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player).

John McKee, Alex Soroka, Will Connors, Ross Byrne and Andrew Osborne all come into the province's starting team as they look to maintain their 100% start to the season.

McKee comes in at hooker where packs down between Boyle and Rabah Slimani, with Slimani returning from the French Six Nations squad ahead of next week’s meeting with Ireland.

Diarmuid Mangan and Brian Deeny continue in the second row after teaming up in the win against the Ospreys last time out.

Max Deegan continues in the back row, but shifts from blindside flanker to number 8, with Soroka and Connors replacing Scott Penny and James Culhane.

Luke McGrath continues at scrum-half and captains the side, while Byrne comes into the starting side for his first appearance since his move to Gloucester was confirmed last week.

Andrew Osborne replaces his older brother Jamie in the starting team, and starts on the left wing, with Jimmy O’Brien moving to full-back.

The rest of the backline is unchanged; Hugh Cooney continues in the centre as Garry Ringrose misses out due to suspension, joining Charlie Tector in midfield, with Tommy O’Brien on the right wing.

RG Snyman will provide ballast off the bench, while two replacements are set to make their Leinster debuts.

Ivan Soroka, older brother of Alex, will make a first Leinster appearance at the age of 30. The former Connacht loosehead has been a key player for Clontarf across the last number of seasons in the Energia All Ireland League.
