Inspiral Carpets, Peter Hook and Billy Ocean among huge names playing in Manchester this April
There are dozens of gigs that take place across Manchester city centre each and every month, but April seems a particularly jam-packed one, with some huge names visiting the city to share their music.
Among them, Oldham’s Inspiral Carpets are set to play the Albert Hall this April, while Peter Hook and The Light - from Salford - will also play a local show.
But there are also lots of famous faces bringing their tours to the North this month, too, from Paramore and Pete Doherty, to Billy Ocean and Duran Duran.

We’ve also highlighted a couple of smaller shows coming up too, including Black Honey at Gorilla, and The Orielles and Canvas, which are both sell-outs.
With two bank holiday weekends this month, it seems like the perfect excuse to book yourself tickets to a show and experience some buzzing live music in one of the city’s gorgeous venues, from O2 Victoria Warehouse and the Albert Hall, to the AO Arena and Apollo.
There are still tickets available for a number of these shows, with some from just £27.05 to see Professor Green. The most expensive ticket of the month is currently for Paramore with resale tickets upwards of £200.
