Insomnia Cookies is offering free cookies for life, but you have to be very brave

Manchester-based Insomnia Cookies is offering free treats for life for to dedicated fans who are willing to do one thing. The local business is calling for brave customers to get a Insomnia Cookies tattoo in return for an eternity of free baked goods.

Fans have been invited to the hot seat where local artists from coveted tattoo studio, Rain City, will be on hand to etch unique Insomnia Cookies tattoos into their skin. The tats will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

The event will take place at the company's store on Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield on Sunday (August 18). This exclusive in-store collaboration called ‘Till Death Dough Us Part’ studio marks the exciting launch of the Insomnia Loyalty rewards app, set up to celebrate die hard fans and their love of the gooey goodies.

For those not wanting to go under the needle, Insomnia Cookies is giving away six specifically designed temporary tattoos for those wanting to show their commitment, in return for a free classic four-pack whilst the artwork lasts.

The brand was founded by US entrepreneurs Seth Berkowitz and Jared Barnett while they were students at the University of Pennsylvania. Opening its first retail store in upstate New York, it now has outlets all over the US, and was acquired by Krispy Kreme in 2018.

As well as cookies, it will be selling cookie-based shakes, ice cream, brownies and ice cream sandwiches. The company has three stores in the Manchester city centre with one Cross Street, next door to the Royal Exchange, another site on University Green and the final one on Wilmslow Road.
