Insider shares another twist he's 'hearing' out of Tottenham

Journalist Dean Jones has highlighted that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is on the radar of Roma after Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing him to Italy.

Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, with Roma reportedly showing interest in the Premier League man. Mourinho is familiar with the Danish midfielder from his time at Spurs and will know his capabilities.

Hojbjerg signed for Spurs in 2020 from Southampton and he has made 99 appearances in all competitions since, including 34 in the league this term, meaning he has missed just two games all season.

With the reports of a move to Roma for Hojbjerg, Jones highlighted to GiveMeSport that the 26-year-old would be a great asset for Mourinho if he was to join the Italian side.

“One thing I’m hearing on Hojbjerg is that Jose Mourinho quite fancies taking him to Roma. Next season Jose intends to ask the board to back his vision as he thinks they can make a real push at the top of Serie A – and Hojbjerg could be a great asset,” Jones said.
