Insider claims 'incredible' player interested in Spurs move, Levy 'loves' the idea of him

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Gareth Bale could re-join Spurs because of the emotional connection that he has at the club.

Gareth Bale has been seriously out of favour at Real Madrid this season, he has featured just five times in all competitions whilst chipping in with one goal, as per Transfermarkt. His season has been riddled with injury problems, but recently he has been an unused substitute in the last four times he’s been named in the squad.

Bale has proven what he can do at 32-years-old whilst on international duty with Wales, as he scored twice for his country in a recent World Cup Qualifier against Austria, which meant his side won 2-1.

Bale re-joined Spurs on loan last term, and Dean Jones highlighted to GIVEMESPORT, that the Welshman could head back to North London for his third stint with Tottenham after his emotional connection with the club.

 “I think one thing in their favour if they did want him back, is it seems to be that its emotion and passion that is motivating Bale at this point. The performance he managed to pull out the bag for Wales was incredible. And I don’t think there’ll be many clubs right now that interest Gareth Bale. I think Tottenham is probably one of literally a couple,” Jones said.

Interestingly, Dean Jones claimed recently that Daniel Levy loves the idea of seeing Bale back at Spurs scoring goals and the connection he has with the fans.
