Alex Curran has been living a life of luxury since her husband took up a managerial role in the Middle East.

Former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard was appointed as the manager of Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq in July 2023 after his disappointing stint in charge of Aston Villa. Gerrard had left Ibrox to return to the Premier League, but he failed to live up to Villa's expectations. After acquiring several high-profile players last summer, including fellow ex-Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, Gerrard extended his contract until 2027 at the start of this year. The former midfielder signed a lucrative deal with the Saudi Pro League Club and is said to be earning £15million annually.

Despite being one of the highest-paid coaches globally, his family declined the offer of a house in Damman, Saudi Arabia. Instead, Alex and their four children are based in Bahrain. The Gulf nation is conveniently located near Damman, where Al-Ettifaq are headquartered, allowing them to lead a glamorous lifestyle.

The Gerrard family reportedly resides in a luxurious villa in the village of Hamala. Their home, costing around £10,000 per month in rent, boasts a swimming pool and games room and is situated near members of the Bahraini royalty, reports the Mirror.

Model and fashion columnist Curran first started dating Gerrard in 2002, tying the knot five years later. Since relocating to the Middle East, it's been reported that the 41-year-old enjoys her time at the Bahrain World Trade Center in Manama, a hub for luxury fashion brands, and The Avenues, a waterfront shopping centre.
