Informational Defence of Ukraine provides a daily review of the military-political situation in Ukraine as of April 11th, based on an analysis of open sources.

1. The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions and continue counterattacks.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy tried to attack Severodonetsk in the Donetsk and Tavriia directions, but was unsuccessful. During the shelling of Popasna, the enemy used the “Tochka-U” (“Scarab B”) tactical missile system.

In Mariupol, the enemy is carrying out assault operations in some areas of the city.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the russians continue to partially encircle and surround Kharkiv, firing from multiple rocket launchers, artillery and mortars.

In the area of the city of Izium, the occupiers are trying to keep the borders that were captured earlier.

In the Pivdennyi Buh direction, the occupiers are trying to improve their tactical situation and gain a foothold on the administrative borders of the Kherson region.

The Defence Ministry believes that the possibility of the resumption of attacks by russian troops on Kyiv will depend on the outcome of the fighting in eastern Ukraine.
