Ineos have given Erik ten Hag something he's always wanted at Manchester United
In their seven months in charge at Manchester United Ineos have shown that the attraction of working at Old Trafford remains as strong as ever, despite the club's on-pitch struggles.
For those working in the background, the challenge of restoring United to the pinnacle of the domestic game is clearly an attractive one. Sir Jim Ratcliffe set out the ambition of recruiting the 'best in class' and he has been as good as his word.
Ineos appointed Omar Berrada from Manchester City and Dan Ashworth from Newcastle United to fill their two most important roles and Jason Wilcox swapped a job as a director of football at Southampton to become United's technical director.

On Monday, another former Manchester City employee will walk into the club on the opposite side of town.
Recruiting Sam Erith as interim performance director is a significant feather in the cap for Ineos. Erith spent 11 years at City as head of sports science and lead for human performance. Erith was highly regarded at the Etihad and held similar roles with Tottenham and the England national team.
He can be a significant asset for United and will work to create an elite performance environment around Carrington, focusing on the first-team squad and supporting Erik ten Hag.
