India vs England: Ravichandran Ashwin Set To Rejoin Team On Day 4 Of 3rd Test After Family Emergency

The Indian cricket team received a big boost on Day 4 of the third Test against England, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that the player will rejoin the team on Sunday. Ashwin had taken a break after the conclusion of Day 2 of the Rajkot Test due to a family emergency. But, he is set to rejoin his teammates on the penultimate day of the match. In Ashwin's absence on Saturday, the Indian team did well in bowling out England for 319 in the first innings, with the four bowlers stepping up. 

In a release, the BCCI said: "The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pleased to announce the return of R Ashwin to the squad after a brief absence due to a family emergency. Ashwin had to temporarily withdraw from the squad after Day 2 of the 3rd Test in Rajkot to attend to a family emergency.
