IND vs BAN 1st Test: India crush Bangladesh by 188 runs, take 1-0 lead in two-match series

With this win, India have taken a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

Kuldeep, who claimed five wickets in the first innings, returned a match-haul of 8/113 -- his best in Tests. The Chinaman bowler was adjudged Man of the Match for his magnificent bowling. The two-match series is part of the ICC World Test Championship.

With this win, India have climbed to the third place in the World Test Championship points table, pushing Sri Lanka to the fourth position. India now have 87 points with 55.77 percentage (PCT) while Sri Lanka have 64 points and 53.33 PCT.
