'Incident' closes two lanes of M4 with long queues around Bridgend - live updates

Two lanes of the M4 have been closed near Bridgend due to an ongoing 'police incident'. There is heavy congestion between junction 36 for Bridgend and junction 35.

According to traffic monitoring system INRIX: "Two lanes blocked and queueing traffic due to recovery work and police incident on M4 Eastbound at J36 A4061 (Bridgend / Sarn Service Area)."Traffic Wales also warned drivers of delays sharing: "We are dealing with an incident heading eastbound between J36 Sarn and J35 Pencoed. 2 Lanes are currently out for recovery.

Updates to follow. Beware of congestion in the area." A graphic attached top their message indicated the incident is a collision.
