'In a way' - Tammy Abraham makes Leicester City admission as Roma prepare for semi-final clash

Roma striker Tammy Abraham has said his team are confident they can beat Leicester City in the Europa Conference League semi-finals.

Speaking ahead of Thursday's first leg at the King Power Stadium, Abraham was full of confidence that Jose Mourinho's men could pick up a win against Leicester, who he admits are a similar team to Roma.

The two teams meet in what will be the first European semi-final in City's 138-year history. Abraham looks most likely to cause problems for the Leicester back line after netting 24 goals in all competitions this season. That said, though, he could be unsettled amid reports linking him with a £50m move to Arsenal.

"We're going in strong, we're going in with belief and confidence," Abraham said before the game. "They play similarly to us in a way. They play counterattacking football. They've got very fast players who like to run. They've got good midfielders who like to find the attackers as well.

"We have to go into the game full of confidence. On our day, with confidence, we can beat anyone. For us, it's just about believing in ourselves.

"I'm going back to England. This is my game to show what I've come away to Italy to learn. I'm excited! I think my whole family will come."
