The first European Grand Prix of the season takes place this weekend at Imola, as Formula 1 heads back to one of the more iconic venues on the calendar.

It’s a track that will always be woven into the fabric of the history of F1, thanks to both triumph and tragedy over the years.

How will the new Sprint set-up impact things?

Sprint is back for 2022 and it’s the first time we see the format return for this season, after it was given three Grand Prix weekends last year.

The Saturday Sprint will take place in the afternoon, with qualifying coming forward to Friday afternoon, whilst the Grand Prix itself remains on Sunday.
