Ibrahima Konate almost choked on confetti during Liverpool's Carabao Cup celebrations
Liverpool beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday evening at Wembley.
There was no shortage of drama despite the lack of goals in the game.
There were four disallowed goals (three for Chelsea, one for Liverpool) during the 120 minutes.
Neither side could find the winner and thus the game was decided by penalties.
After the first 21 penalties in the shootout were scored, Kepa Arrizabalaga blazed his spot-kick over the bar to confirm Liverpool as the victors.
Ibrahima Konate started the game on the bench. He replaced Joel Matip at the start of extra-time and performed well.
The Frenchman has already emerged into a very popular figure among Liverpool fans and he was involved in a funny moment as Liverpool celebrated their victory.
After Jordan Henderson lifted the trophy in the stands, confetti reigned down on the players and Konate nearly choked on a piece of it.
Andy Robertson, who was standing alongside Konate, showed no sympathy at all as he cracked up laughing at his teammate’s misfortune. Watch the moment below…
