Ian Evatt pinpoints quality Liverpool's Conor Bradley has impressing him most in Bolton Wanderers loan

Ian Evatt joked to any onlookers from Liverpool that Conor Bradley is doing 'okay' in his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers but pinpointed the youngster's character and attitude as among his most impressive qualities.

The 19-year-old is on loan at Wanderers for the season from the Premier League giants. He has impressed at the League On side with his performances at right wing-back.

That was none moreso evident than in last night's 1-0 victory over Morecambe. The Northern Ireland youngster scored the winner and caused the Shrimps problems throughout the encounter.

Evatt praised the youngster's character and attitude as what he is enjoying seeing from the Liverpool loanee. Wanderers are now fourth in the League One table at this early stage of the campaign, but Evatt believes his side ought to have more points on the board than the eight they do have.

He said: “He’s doing okay, if anyone from Liverpool is listening to this, he’s going okay! He’s a wonderful young man and his performances, I’m not surprised, I told you exactly how highly we rated him, but for me it’s just his character and the way he is, he just loves the game, loves football, wants to learn, a wonderful young man with a fantastic attitude.

“I’m more satisfied than pleased. I’d be pleased if we had 12 points. I was disappointed with Saturday and the manner of it. I do think that was two points dropped, but in the circumstances a point was okay and second half against Ipswich I was a bit disappointed, but other than that, I think we’ve done okay. Lots of work, lots of improvement to come.”
