I would be perfect transfer for Manchester United - and Ruben Amorim thinks so too
Geovany Quenda has quickly become one of the most talked about talents in Europe.
The Sporting Lisbon sensation is still only 17 but has flourished in Portugal having been handed his chance by the now Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim. The talented winger, operating at wing back in Sporting's 3-4-3 system, is a player United were aware of prior to Amorim's arrival at Old Trafford.
But since the 39-year-old jetted into Manchester the links have only intensified with United monitoring the teenager ahead of a potential move in January or the summer. He fits the bill for an Ineos arrival as a young player with potential to grow on the pitch and make money off it should a sale down the line be an avenue explored.

Amorim, too, rates the Portugal Under-21 international highly, as you would expect from a man who handed him his senior debut. The boss has a youth first policy and believes in the if they are good enough, they are old enough adage.
"The important thing is not the ID card, but rather the maturity," said Amorim. "It is not their age that matters, but the ability they demonstrate on a daily basis.
"Sometimes we can, with great care, speed up some players. Last year, Geovany Quenda spent more time in the under-23s, was barely in the B team and came straight here. He is very talented, very mature and understands the game like an adult. He has a lot of room to grow, but he played an excellent game and we have a player there."
Amorim is now here. And whether he makes a move or not for Quenda in the coming months and years, it is evident
