"I've thought this for three months" - Sky Sports reporter shares big Conte claim at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte already ‘knows who he wants’ to sign ahead of the summer transfer window opening for business, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Spurs are looking to break into the Premier League’s top four in order to return to the Champions League, but they are currently six points adrift of arch-rivals Arsenal, who also boast a game in hand.

Tottenham have leaked 35 goals in 27 Premier League outings this season, so it should come as no surprise that Conte is seemingly looking to strengthen his backline.

The Telegraph revealed last month that central defensive trio Sven Botman, Alessandro Bastoni and Josko Gvardiol – who are currently on the books of Lille, Inter Milan and RB Leipzig respectively – have worked their way onto Conte’s radar.

Spurs have also been named as an admirer of Liverpool ace Joe Gomez, but they could face competition from the likes of Leicester City, Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Southampton right-back Tino Livramento is understood to be a leading target for managing director Fabio Paratici and he is already making preliminary moves for the 19-year-old right-back.

Further up the pitch, Spurs are in the running to sign Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness.

Dybala’s £222,000-per-week contract with the Serie A giants expires in the summer, meaning Tottenham could already tie the Argentinian down to a pre-contract agreement ahead of completing a free transfer in the summer.
