A key Rangers transfer update has emerged on the chances of them landing John Souttar on deadline day…

According to The Athletic’s Jordan Campbell, the Gers have not made a fresh attempt to bring the defender to Ibrox ahead of the summer.

He tweeted: “Told Rangers have yet to come back with a deadline day offer for John Souttar. The Hearts centre-back signed a pre-contract deal but I understand Rangers had two bids rejected to bring him in early. No further contact in recent days.”
