I tried rocket ice lollies from Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Morrisons and Iceland - there was a clear winner
With temperatures skyrocketing all across the country, people are scrambling for ways to cool down.
Nothing does the trick quite like frozen ice lollies to fight against temperatures as high as 30C in some areas this week. One nostalgic ice lollies that many may remember fondly are the rocket-shaped variety.
With the growing pressure from the cost of living crisis, many will pleased to know that this frozen snacks can usually be grabbed at a wide variety of supermarkets for an affordable price.
Andrew Nuttall at our sister site North Wales Live took on the challenge of hunting down as many rocket-shaped ice lollies from different supermarkets to see which were the best choice on a budget.

Would I buy it again? No
Starting off with my least favourite option from Tesco. In my opinion the lollies - described as "juicy and fruity" had the weakest taste out of all the rockets I tried this week. Being at the higher end of the price scale compared to some other supermarkets available, I'd expected something a little better.
Not wanting to be too negative about these lollies, I could definitely tell that there were meant to be three different flavour layers - I was was just left wanting a bit more punch from the strawberry, orange and pineapple.
