"I ran into the dressing room" - Jack Grealish opens up on emotional reaction to Man City title-winning goal vs Aston Villa

Jack Grealish ran into the Manchester City dressing room and 'cried his eyes out' after Ilkay Gundogan completed the stunning comeback to secure his first Premier League title.

City were 2-0 down and heading for a devastating final day defeat that could have seen Liverpool crowned champions, but Gundogan - brought on instead of Grealish - scored twice in six minutes either side of Rodri's goal to win the title for the Blues.

And speaking after the game, Grealish said he couldn't contain his emotions after Gundogan's winner, and sought the quietness of the City dressing room to compose himself.

"It's unbelievable, after the third goal I ran on the pitch and ran straight down the tunnel crying my eyes out," he told Sky Sports.

"As a kid you want to play in the Premier League, then the next thing you want to do is win it. I can't put it into words. We know how good a side Villa are, they showed it today. With our quality we can beat anyone, we did it win the last 20 minutes. I was crying my eyes out."

Grealish has had plenty of questions aimed at him after his £100m move from Villa in the summer, but he says he has now achieved his main aim behind joining City.

He said: "It means everything, when I signed, people said what do I want to win when I come here? The Champions League or the Premier League? I've never won it so it was always the Premier League."

In a separate interview, Grealish added: "I can't explain it. I come here to win trophies that's what I said when I first come here and I had a lot of family and friends saying 'if you can win one what would you win?' And I swear, for me it's always the Premier League because I've
