"I'm told" - Journalist hints WHUFC could also sign 27 y/o amid bids for Scamacca, Broja & Onana

West Ham United making a move for former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj is looking ‘more than possible’, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The 27-year-old became a free agent at the start of the month after his contract with La Liga outfit Real Sociedad expired and now could be set to return to English shores with the Hammers.

A recent report from Dutch outlet Voetbal Krant claimed that Januzaj has turned down an approach from Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr as he has no intention of leaving Europe ahead of the World Cup.

And it seems as though West Ham could be a potential destination for the Belgium international as he searches for a new club.

90min have reported that the east London outfit are keeping tabs on Januzaj, a player who manager David Moyes handed his senior debut to during their time together at Manchester United before also signing him on loan during his time in charge of Sunderland.

West Ham appear to be showing ambition in the transfer market this time around, with talkSPORT revealing they had made a triple bid worth £100 million for Armando Broja, Gianlucca Scamacca and Amadou Onana.

Only time will tell if Januzaj is part of the capital club’s plans going forwards, but it’s certainly an exciting time for their supporters.

Jones has informed GiveMeSport than Januzaj is ‘working hard’ on an individual training programme and is ‘really keen’ to return to the Premier League.

He told GMS: “Adnan Januzaj has been told he can move if he finds the right club, and I’m told a move to West Ham is looking more than possible.

“He’s working hard on a pre-season training programme at the moment and is really keen on getting back to the Premier League.”

Januzaj scored four goals and provided a further four assists
