'I'm told' - Insider hints at possible crushing blow for Spurs

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that the reason Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is now being linked with a particular move is because Mauricio Pochettino is on their radar.

Harry Kane was linked to a move to Manchester City last summer but the move broke down for the England skipper. This led to the going through a spell of bad form at the start of the season but has since turned it around as he has five goals and one assist in his previous five Premier League games.

Kane has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United, according to The Daily Mirror,  in what could be a potential link-up with his former manager Pochettino.

Interestingly, Dean Jones spoke to GIVEMESPORT and said that the links between Kane and United have emerged because of “Pochettino becoming their next boss.”

“I’m told the links emerging between United and Kane are very much based on Pochettino becoming their next boss. Don’t underestimate the relationship between Kane and Poch, it’s very tight. The proposition of bringing that combination into Old Trafford seems too good to turn down to me.” Jones said.

Of course, losing Harry Kane, a player who has scored a whopping 242 goals and assisted an impressive 53 goals at the club, would come as a significant blow, but losing him to a Premier League rival who could potentially be managed by a former icon to most Spurs fans, Mauricio Pochettino, would add to the misery even more. Especially as he recently expressed that Tottenham has a special place in his heart amid links to Man United.
