'I'm the wrong side of 50 and feel overweight in jeans', but Next's £28 pair changed that

Luckily, Next shoppers have stumbled upon a pair that they love so much, they're 'buying them in every colour'. The budget-friendly Supersoft Bootcut Jeans are priced at £28 and come in four colourways including dark blue, mid blue, black and rinse blue.

Like all good denim, the bootcut jeans features a classic five pocket style with belt loops and a button fastening. They've been crafted from mostly cotton with polyester, viscose and elastane blend for added strech.

Shoppers can pick the Supersoft Bootcut Jeans up in sizes eight to 24 in petite, regular and tall lengths, as Birmingham Live reports. They've been well received by shoppers, boasting an overall star-rating of 4.5 out of five based on almost 30 reviews.

One happy shopper said: "These are the best jeans I’ve ever worn. I haven’t worn jeans for quite some time as I feel overweight and the wrong side of 50. However I ordered them as a go-to, wear-at-home, just lazing about pair of trousers with no intention of wearing them in public.

"Much to my surprise I look, dare I say, good in them! I bought the long version and being 5ft 7ins they fit me perfectly. They are a good weight with some stretch and I particularly like that they are not baggy on the legs. Perfect jeans. I will be buying some more in a different colour."
