'I'm sorry I'm the one who found him': Cameraman details heartbreaking moment he spotted body in search for Dr Michael Mosley

A local cameraman has shared the heartbreaking moment he spotted a body in the search for Michael Mosley. The TV personality went missing on the Greek island of Symi on Wednesday (June 4), resulting in an extensive search operation over the last few days.

A body which is believed to be that of Dr Mosley has now been found. Tributes have been pouring in expressing upset at the news.

Speaking to Sky News, local cameraman Antonios said he spotted the body while on a boat with the mayor of Symi. Eleftherios Papakaloudoukas said that the body found is believed to be that of TV doctor with local police later confirming the sad news.

Antonios said: "We were sitting at this cafe-bar, all the reporters, and we decided to get on a boat and go have some search through the sea where the search rescuers and the teams were going. During our trip we saw something inside the sea close to the rocks.

"We thought it was [an] umbrella so we did some zoom and close-ups. It was nothing.

"When we went to [the] beach, I noticed outside of the fence at the end of the beach something black. I wasn't sure so I took a close-up with the camera, as far as it could do - it was about 300 metres away.

"I saw something I wasn't sure. I told to the mayor, he was sitting next to me. He said okay, when we come back, we will check again.

"That we did and we were a little bit closer, about 200 metres. I also took the shot again. But through the camera, it was too small. I wasn't sure.

"So we decided once we come to the café again, we will play back the footage. We took a photo of the screen, we zoomed in and you can clearly see there is a man lying down. The
