'I'm so confused' - Manchester United team vs Norwich leaves fans scratching heads

Manchester United fans were left deeply confused by Ralf Rangnick's line-up as he rang the changes against Norwich.

With their top four hopes quickly fading away, United are in desperate need of a victory as they face the league’s bottom side at Old Trafford this afternoon. Sitting six points behind Tottenham ahead of kick-off, the Reds have it all to do to make up the ground and stand a chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Following their dismal displays against Leicester and Everton, United will at least be expected to win today against Norwich. The Canaries though do go into the game on the back of a morale-boosting win over Burnley, which has given them a glimmer of hope for survival.

United, meanwhile, haven’t been helped by the mounting injury problems that have hit since the international break. Already without Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay and Edinson Cavani, Fred became the latest to be ruled out after limping off at Goodison Park last weekend.

That has forced Rangnick into making changes to his side this afternoon. The United interim boss makes four in total, with Paul Pogba returning to the side in place of Fred.

Elsewhere, Diogo Dalot is back in the side as he replaces Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with Anthony Elanga coming in for Marcus Rashford, while Jesse Lingard is handed a rare start in place of Nemanja Matic. The sight of United's midfield though didn't fill fans with much hope ahead of kick-off though.
