I'm A Celebrity's Jordan Banjo responds to being 'mugged off' by Amir Khan as his sister comes to 'rescue'

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa star Jordan Banjo has responded after being 'mugged off' by Amir Khan just minutes into the new series. Fans of the Ant and Dec-fronted reality series tuned in on Monday night (April 24) as a brand new spin-off version of the hit ITV reality show got underway.

A number of famous faces who have previously headed Down Under to compete in the jungle-based competition all agreed to go through the trials and tribulations of camp living once again but this time in the brand new setting of Kruger National Park – one of the largest game reserves in Africa located in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Joining Jordan in the South African bush is former boxing champion Amir Khan; Diversity dancer and DJ Jordan Banjo; TV presenter Carol Vorderman; Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread; Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan; former royal butler Paul Burrell; ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell; and supermodel Janice Dickinson.

The first episode of the series, which will see one of the famous faces crowned the first-ever 'I'm A Celebrity Legend', saw Carol, Amir and Jordan kick things off by earning stars by individually falling from heights.

But before then, it was time for their first meeting and former boxer Amir made a mistake. He greeted Kiss FM DJ Jordan as though he knew him before they went into camp. However, Amir then admitted to the camera in a confessional moment that he had no clue who Jordan was.

Taking to Instagram, Jordan reshared a post made on Instagram by the I'm A Celebrity team in which they quoted Amir saying: "I know he's someone famous, but I don't know who he is!" before asking: "Do you know his name?" Alongside the post,
