I'm A Celebrity's Jamie Lynn Spears breaks silence after exit as she plans 'recovery'

Jamie Lyn Spears has broken her silence on her exit from the jungle - less than 24 hours after it was revealed she'd quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. It was announced just a few hours before Wednesday night's instalment of the ITV reality show that the actress and singer had quit on 'medical grounds'.

A spokesperson for I'm A Celeb confirmed: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She’s been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."

At the start of the show on Wednesday night's (November 29) episode, the ITV reality show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly also addressed her exit. Ant told viewers: “We’ve got some breaking news for you, Jamie Lynn Spears has left the camp on medical grounds." Dec added: "The good news is, Jamie Lynn is doing fine and she goes away with our best wishes."

Now, Jamie Lynn has spoken out herself and after an emotional time Down Under, the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears said she was taking time to 'recover' with her family.

She wrote on Instagram: “I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
