I'm A Celebrity 'replaces' Tommy Fury with The Voice star days before ITV launch
Danny Jones, a member of McFly, is reportedly stepping in to replace Tommy Fury on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Tommy, a boxer and Love Island star who recently ended his engagement with Molly-Mae Hague, had been in talks with the producers of the popular ITV reality show for some time before deciding not to participate, despite the imminent start date of the show.
The reality star was evasive when asked about his potential participation in the jungle-based reality show, seeming to avoid the question, reports the Mirror.
When probed about his involvement on Heart Breakfast in recent weeks, he said: "Listen a lot of things in my life is like a rollercoaster in a minute. There are so many things I might do. You know, could he be doing this? Could he be doing that?
"To be honest with you, I don't know what I'm doing this afternoon. I mean, I just take literally an hour at a time, so I don't know. There's a lot of things going on in my life right now. So, I'm not sure on anything."
Now, it's been suggested by an insider that Danny, the McFly singer, will be the one heading into the Australian jungle instead.
A source told The Sun: "As well as bringing some of the star appeal of the group with him, he'll be supplying some serious guy candy for the campmates and viewers at home.
"All the McFly guys are gym fanatics and Danny in particular has a great physique - which he's bound to show off in the jungle."
The source also mentioned that the singer is expected to 'fill the jungle hunk gap' left by Tommy.
An ITV spokesperson told Manchester Evening News: "Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! are just speculation
